When trying to create a healthier you, it can be overwhelming to say the least. So many things to think about like what vitamins you should take, how much, if adding protein, what kind? The “NEW” By Nature Plus is now Adrian’s dependable local Health and Wellness Center! By Nature Plus has been transformed into an ultra-modern store with expanded products and services as part of its relocation from the 1100 block of North Main, Street to 1382 South Main Street, in Adrian. The move was just over 2 miles, but it made a world of difference.
Sandy Dunbar, founder, put her business and building on the North Side up For Sale. The building sold, but the buyer didn’t want the business, so Marta Ybarra-Hoffman purchased By Nature and relocated to where she felt there would be a better ingress and egress for her customers.
“Sandra Dunbar operated By Nature in Adrian for 35 years,” Marta said. “Part of my goal in relocating the business was to modernize the look and feel of the interior, which includes color choices and top of the line shelving units for product display. We still sell Vitamins, Herbs, Homeopathies, and Bulk Spices, just as Sandy always did.”
I also wanted to make the office space for ‘Marta’s Holistic Healthcare and Hypnosis Center’ more functional for the services we offer and create a modern-looking Smoothie Bar, which we proudly call the “The Good 4 U Bar.” We look at ourselves as a “Wellness Center” with all the healthy products and services, we provide.
The “Good 4 U Bar” provides the highest quality, all-natural Smoothies made from a blend of Fresh Fruits, Greens and other ingredients that are sold in the store for their health benefits. “Everybody knows fruits and vegetables are good for us, so that knowledge started and ended each Juice and Smoothie recipe,” Marta added.

Marta Ybarra-Hoffman has been involved in Holistic Healthcare since 1986. She has ten years’ experience as a Chiropractic Assistant specializing in Bio-feedback Stress Analysis. She has attended hundreds of hours of classes, seminars and workshops in the United States, Canada and Mexico over the last 28 years.
Marta was first introduced to Alternative Medicine while working with Dr. Kosmyna in Clinton, Michigan. In 1998 she went to Tijuana, Mexico to work with renowned Dr. Jose Calzada, M.D. to further her education in Alternative Healing.
Marta has earned many certifications in the fields of Holistic Healthcare and Alternative Medicine.

- Certification in Meridian Stress Assessment from Bio-Source of Provo, Utah

In 2009 Marta received her PH.D. in Clinical Hypnosis and Doctorate of Alternative Healing from Albert University.
